When Charlie Wallasch was interviewing Cold Storage
General Contractors, he noticed that the Clarion team was "just a bit more organized
and experienced" than the other contractors. He selected Clarion for the total
design build responsibility in the construction of his new 16,000 s.f. freezer, staging
dock and corporate office for American Fruit Processors of Pacoima, California.
Utilizing a steel support structure, Clarion provided exterior urethane wall and roof
panels by "Metl-Span", "Dow" floor insulation and Edey Doors for years of maintenance-free
service.

With expert management skills by Kent Gardner and Mitch
Campbell of Clarion, the project was completed in 22 weeks in spite of the "El
Nio" weather pattern.
At last count, Mr. Wallasch had the room to capacity with fruit flavoring concentrate and
was preparing to begin Phase II construction.
