Clarion was contracted by Dole Fresh Fruit to design and build a new 19,000 S. F.
facility, including 8,000 s.f. of +38 F Cooler Space and 11,000 s.f. of Packing Area in
Redlands, California. Working with Bosz Architecture of Irvine, California, the
Clarion team selected a concrete block design to duplicate the look of the old poured in
place pilasters and bond beams of the adjacent buildings. The project involved the
widening of San Bernardino Avenue, all new curbs and gutters, new street water and sewer
mains, and re-engineering of the entire site for proper drainage.
