Santa Monica Seafood recently moved into a new
Consolidated Distribution Center in Carson, California. Clarion was
awarded the contract to construct several new cold storage and processing
rooms as well as the offices and welfare areas.

The staging area is expansive and boasts high
ceilings, super insulated panels, metal halide lighting, State of the
Art dock equipment and is fully refrigerated.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The kitchen and cooking area is constructed with
insulated panels and fitted with the latest, all stainless steel, food
preparation equipment and commercial ovens.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
From this new kitchen, Santa Monica Seafood provides
value added items such as soups, salads and even sushi to all of its
clients.

The exhaust systems for the stainless hoods are fire
rated and extend up above the kitchen area approximately 35' and through
the roof deck.
This new central facility allows Santa Monica Seafood
to better serve their wholesale clients as well as their outlets in
Costa Mesa, Orange and Santa Monica, California. Clarion is pleased to
have been associated with Santa Monica Seafood for the past 17 years.
