King Meats of Vernon, California, was about to construct
a 50,000 s.f. freezer facility on the Hawaiian island of Oahu. Bill Hughes, the
owner, has known Bruce Kidd of Clarion for over 20 years. He hired Clarion because
of this comfort level with Bruce and his ability to construct a "top notch"
freezer.
Bruce selected "Dow" Floor insulation, "Metl-Span" panels, and an overdeck
insulation system to provide Mr. Hughes with a "workhorse" type of building.

Working on the island was a treat for many of the Clarion
staff. Clarion's Foreman, Dennis Spann, was meticulous and detailed during
installation. The success of this project is unusual for Oahu as most freezers are
plagued with problems as a result of the lack of knowledgeable cold storage personnel on
the island. We at Clarion are pleased to have played a role in such a prestigious
project.
