S & S Foods of Azusa, California, had been awarded a multi-faceted
contract to provide Taco Bell with seasoned cooked beef for their West
Coast restaurants.
S & S Foods turned to Clarion for a total design build
responsibility in the construction of a 75,000 S. F. meat grinding,
cooking, and freezing facility.

Time was of the
essence, Clarion worked closely with C & L Refrigeration of Anaheim,
California, to complete the retrofit of an existing building in less
than 90 days.
All materials and
finishes are U.S.D.A. approved and built to last. Stainless steel
trench drains, concrete curbing, insulated panel walls and ceilings,
Jamison Doors, and a multitude of stainless steel processing equipment
compliment this beautifully sanitary facility. From this location,
over a million pounds of seasoned cooked beef is shipped weekly to Taco
Bell restaurants all over the Western United States.
